Where does it begin and end?

 

The River Rhine starts from precipitation(rain, sleet or snow)  in Grabuden, Switzerland, on the Swiss Alps then flows downhill. It starts in the southeastern Swiss Alps, forms part of the Swiss-Austrian, Swiss-Liechtestein border, Swiss-German and then the Franco-German border. The River Rhine then flows through the Rhineland and eventually empties into the North Sea in Netherlands.
